Milestones are smaller checkpoints within a goal. For example, if your goal is 'Run a marathon,' milestones might be 'Complete 5K,' 'Complete 10K,' and 'Complete half marathon.'

Yes, all goals and progress are saved in your browser's local storage. They persist between sessions but are device-specific.
